We woke up to a glorious morning so decided it would be a great day to visit Top of the Rock. Due to the poor weather the last few days everyone else had the same idea so we ended up with timed tickets for 4pm. After a brief visit to the Rockefeller Centre we headed south to Brooklyn Bridge.
After walking over the bridge we took a rather long walk through Brooklyn Heights then Brooklyn Bridge Park.
Feeling very tired by now we jumped on a ferry across to Wall Street rather than returning over the bridge.
I touched the Charging Bulls bits, apparently it brings you good luck :-)
It was then time to return for our Top of the Rock booking.
Having a few minutes spare we went via Time Square.

nice clear day, good for views up there. brooklyn was good too, kind of peaceful in comparison which was nice.
ReplyDeleteI was impressed how uncrowned it was at the Top of the Rock considering the amount of people going up. Fab views, morning would have been even better. Took us ages walking over Brooklyn Bridge as I just kept taking photos.
Deleteyeh i guess it's good they do these timed entries. you can't necessarily go exactly the time you want, but at least you're not fighting for a view.
