This morning we visited The 9/11 Museum and Memorial. The Museum was very informative about the events of that day and the days afterwards. It was so emotional learning about all the victims. It was possible to read about each individual victim and what they were doing on that day and how they lost their life.
The day of the attack.
Objects of remembrance.
Fire Engine hit by falling debris.
Remains of one of the lift motors.
The 'Last Column' marked with the number of victims. As an example FDNY 343 stands for 'Fire Department New York 343 victims'.

Afterwards we walked through Central Park and watched people enjoying their Sunday afternoon.

it is quite an emotional atmosphere in the museum. being made around some of the foundations really makes it. the amount of stuff and detail in there is pretty amazing too.
