More waterfalls.

Slowly turning into an American by starting the day with a strong coffee by the fire pit.

First stop today was Robert Treman State Park. We hiked the Rim Trail then the GorgeTrail. Total distance of about 5 miles (a few ups and downs), the scale of Lucifer Falls was very impressive. The whole walk again took us much longer than expected as we chatted for quite a while with a lady who grew up nearby and also a couple from Louisiana feeling the cold, it was probably mid 20's.

We had a lunch stop in Ithaca, I met a friendly lady who was very quiet.

It started raining and we were undecided if it was going to be worth visiting Buttermilk Falls in the rain. As it was on my schedule we had to do it rain or no rain. We got a little wet, it was well worth it as we both really enjoyed the hike and the Falls.

  2. Bet the "friendly lady" couldn't get a word in edgeways! And coffee, yes, but why no donuts?

    1. You know how Americans love to listen to our English accent, don’t they! Couldn’t manage a doughnut I was already full after cornflakes.
