Walking from the hotel we noticed we were walking along the Watkins Glen Drivers Walk of Fame.
10 minutes from the hotel was Watkins Glen. A lovely walk with many waterfalls, several that you could pass beneath. And lots of steps. About a 3 mile round trip but took us 3 hours as we kept stopping to chat with other visitors.
After sitting by Seneca Lake for a picnic we drove to Taughannock Falls and a short hike to the bottom of the falls then a drive to the falls overlook.
Finished the afternoon by watching a Heron on the shore of Cayuga Lake.
