It was rather a gloomy day when we checked out of our Watkins Glen hotel but we had a quick walk by Seneca Lake Marina before leaving for Niagara Falls.
To break the journey up we visited Lechworth State Park "Grand Canyon of the East". After the overnight rain the river was very intimidating due to its speed and colour.
We then continued and crossed the boarder from the US to Canada at Rainbow Bridge and checked in to our hotel, the Marriott Fallsview. The view from our room on the 16th floor of the US (Bridal Veil) and Canadian (Horseshoe) Falls was incredible.
After admiring the Falls from the room we went for a closer look.

ReplyDeleteNo noise with window shut. We opened window to let the noise in :-)
